Approach

I studied documentary photography and spent a few years in London shooting and picture editing for the Financial Times before I came back to Wales and started photographing weddings. That grounding is still how I work: present, watching, letting the day run itself rather than arranging it.

There is no shot list and no standing around for forty-five minutes doing formals. I will give you a gentle nudge where it genuinely helps, and otherwise stay out of the way. If that sounds like the sort of thing you want, we will probably get on.

I shoot digital with 35mm film running alongside it, which is where a lot of the character in these galleries comes from. Originally from Cardigan, based just outside the Gower, and happy to travel anywhere in the UK, Europe or further.
